Funding, monitoring, and exiting
The current Vault Agent runs on Base. It starts with a supported base asset in its Agent Wallet and can place assets into approved vault positions.
Funding an agent
Section titled “Funding an agent”After creating an agent, open its Funding page or use the deposit form on its overview. The app offers direct deposits, a bridge, and a Coinbase deposit option. Follow the in-app flow rather than sending tokens manually to the displayed Agent Wallet address; the app warns that transfers sent on the wrong chain will not be recoverable.
Fund the agent with at least $10 of its base asset, then choose Deploy Agent; this deploys the Agent Wallet onchain.
Monitoring activity
Section titled “Monitoring activity”Use the agent’s overview and Activity view to review balances, positions, transactions, and results. For Vault Agent metric definitions, see Vault Agent performance.
A rule boundary is a measurable limit produced by a rule for a held vault. Monitoring continuously checks relevant boundaries against vault metrics. When boundaries exist, the agent overview shows whether they are clear, approaching breach, or breached.
When a breach becomes active, it can wake the agent early and make it eligible for its next run. Monitoring does not choose an allocation, execute a transaction, or send you a notification.
Withdrawing
Section titled “Withdrawing”From the agent overview, withdraw a vault position first. Once assets return to the Agent Wallet as an idle base-asset balance, use Withdraw to transfer that balance to your connected wallet.
How much you can withdraw and how quickly depends on the underlying protocol’s liquidity and withdrawal rules. Pending transactions or an incident can delay or limit an exit; the app cannot guarantee immediate liquidity.
Withdraw all positions and remaining balances before deactivating. An agent can be deactivated once its value is $0.
