Choosing and creating an agent

An agent is an autonomous on-chain system with a specific goal. The type you choose determines what it is designed to do and which settings, actions, and metrics you will see.

The Vault Agent is currently the only available type. It manages supported assets across approved DeFi vaults to pursue risk-adjusted yield.

Future types may pursue different goals. Do not assume that an agent with a different type will use vaults, APY, or the same funding flow.

  1. Open YieldSeeker and connect the wallet you want to use.
  2. Open the agent creation flow.
  3. Select the Vault Agent.
  4. For the current Vault Agent, choose Base and one of the supported base assets shown in Agent types.
  5. Give the agent a name and review the summary.
  6. Confirm creation.

Creation establishes the agent and its associated Agent Wallet. It does not necessarily fund or deploy the wallet; follow the Getting started guide for the next steps.

Read the agent’s guide, supported assets, expected results, and risks before depositing. For the current type, start with the Vault Agent guide, Security, and Risks and limitations.

Developers should use Creating an agent via API for request fields, responses, and integration behavior.
